Monolithic refractories mortar
Monolithic refractories mortar is to point to by a certain grain size distribution of refractory mortar aggregate (aggregates and the powder), binder and additive of wet form one or half wet, or dry, can be directly used to build or repair of industrial furnace lining refractory mortar called monolithic refractories.This kind of material lining body can form no juncture whole lining. Compared to firing refractory mortar products, monolithic refractories has the following characteristics: (1) the preparation technology is simple, short production cycle, high labor productivity; (2) the strong adaptability, without being limited by the industrial kiln structure shape when using, can be made into any shape. (3) integrity is good, good air tightness, thermal resistance is big, can reduce industrial furnace heat loss, energy saving; (4) is advantageous for the mechanized construction, the provincial workers save time; (5) for industrial furnace lining is easy to be damaged by monolithic refractories repair, prolong the service life of the lining body, reduce consumption of refractory material. So monolithic refractories has gradually replace most of the burning refractory mortar products and is widely used, use the proportion of monolithic refractories in metallurgical industry accounts for more than half the total usage of the refractory material refractory mortar.
Preparation of monolithic refractories of granular materials always called refractory mortar aggregate. Refractory mortar aggregate into aggregate and powder, aggregate particle size is greater than 0.088 mm (or 0.074 mm) is referred to as aggregate, skeleton role in monolithic refractories.
