Notes for the storage of castable refractory material
castable material storage notes:
1. castable material should be stored in dry warehouse, not rain, not damp.
2.castable material in the warehouse do not pile too high, generally about one meter refractory cement .
3.The best storage date of castable is 6 months.
4.Different grades of castable must be stacked separately, keep distance, and make good marks.refractory cement
Construction technology of pouring material anchor and template
1.The material of the anchor has a great influence on the quality of the castable, generally using heat-resistant stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti material,High temperature zone (above 1280℃) using Ocr25Ni20 material,Both sides of the anchor requires full welding, welding should be firm,The surface should be coated with a layer of 1-2mm thick asphalt paint or tape wrapped to offset its expansion effect at high temperatures.
2.Formwork construction should be waterproof, surface should be smooth,And on the surface of asphalt or brushing oil, can also be affixed to a layer of felt paper,Prevents absorption of moisture from the casting body,But also can more easily remove the template, template seams should be dense refractory cement , prevent leakage phenomenon.
Stirring and adding water of castable refractory
1.The construction site and the mixing vessel (forced mixer) must be clean and free of debris, there shall be no lime, sand and other debris mixed with castable refractory,Castable refractorymust use mechanical mixing, strictly different grades of castables mixed use.
2.Contains a small bag of powder per pack castable, need to pre mixed 1-2 minutes, mixing after mixing with water;Each stirring pouring material weight should be controlled at 150-200 kg, stirring 5 minutes or so until the pan pulp, to meet the use of castable requirements.
Note: the castable must be used in bags to ensure its uniformity.casting material must be mixed with water after 15 minutes to use up (from the water when counting), within a specified period of time did not run out or have been hard pouring material, can no longer add water and reuse, to resolutely abandon.
3.The amount of water on the quality of castable has a great impact, must be strictly controlled, generally in 5%-8%; two water should be added slowly to prevent excessive water, construction water should be clean drinking water (pH value between 6.5-7.5).
4.In the construction, should avoid pouring material and mixing water is a long time in the sun, should take the shading, long temperature should be lower than 38℃ ;In winter construction, the pouring material refractory cement and mixing water should be placed indoors,And extend the mold curing time, must also ensure that the puring/ casting and curing period of the ambient temperature shall not be less than 0 degrees Celsius.
