High Aluminum Cement Combined Castable
The main mineral of high alumina cement is calcium aluminate (CA), which is hydrated quickly and does not precipitate calcium hydroxide. Therefore, the preparation of high alumina cement refractory castable with fast hard and high strength characteristics. Refractory aggregate and powder generally use clay and high-quality aluminum clinker or the same material of the old refractory bricks, the maximum temperature of 1400 ℃. Under normal circumstances, the amount of high-alumina cement is about 15%. When the use of high temperature, should minimize the amount of cement, at present, low cement castables in the amount of cement down to about 3%, so that cement and powder content remained at around 30%. Refractory powder plays a role in filling the aggregate pores and participating in the solid phase reaction at high temperatures. Therefore, it is required to be as fine as possible. The varieties used should be the same or slightly better than the aggregate, shall not use refractory mud material instead. Refractory aggregate according to the use of different temperature to choose, should not be one-sided pursuit of high-grade materials, to make the best use. The maximum particle size of the refractory aggregate is typically 15 mm. When the temperature is high, the particle size can be appropriately reduced. Aggregate grain gradation, usually with two ingredients, can also be used with the material, the general rate of 0.45 ~ 0.55 to control. The amount of water available is expressed as a percentage by mass, or it may be expressed in terms of water-cement ratio or kilograms per cubic meter. But the general principle is: to ensure that the refractory castable mixture of the ease of the case, should minimize the amount of water. In addition, high alumina cement refractory castable can also be added with additives (such as water-reducing agent, etc.) to improve the construction performance and improve fire resistance.
