Corundum Refractory Production Process

In order to reduce the shrinkage of the cast brick, it is necessary to add a small amount of extrude material to the batch to reduce the melting temperature and thereby reduce the volume expansion of the melt. Add different materials depending on the product type.
For casting a-Al2O3 bricks, add a small amount of flux, such as the introduction of 0.25% -1% B2O3, not only can accelerate the melting process, but also improve the melt viscosity.
In addition to the mixed batch, into the charge there are recycling waste, such as scrap castings, risers, etc., and foreign clean corundum fragments, but the number can not exceed 30% of the amount of loading.
